Trade Publishers


Contrary to some prognosticators’ pronouncements, the book is not dead. Nor is it on the way out. Surely there is plenty of competition from other media, but nothing is more accessible, more portable, more enlightening than the written word.


The book, though, is evolving. Increasingly, publishers are seeking to bolster trade sales through the development of new formats and book-plus products. And they turn to Marketing Out-of-the-Box for, frankly, “out-of-the-box” creativity and innovation.
